Dear PNW Tribal Climate Change Network:
Attached please find minutes from yesterday's conference call. Once
again, I've included a table of contents so that you can navigate
through the update, opportunities to review national climate change
reports, including the National Fish, Wildlife and Plants Climate
Adaptation Strategy (NWFPCAS) and the Northwest Climate Science Center
Science Agenda. I've also attached a notice of an upcoming climate
change vulnerability assessment course that will be held in Seattle in
late January, as well as the current list of webinar participants to
discuss the National Wildlife Federation reports on climate change in
the marine and freshwater ecosystems in the North Pacific LCC. More
about all of these issues can be found in the meeting notes. Finally,
the last four pages of the notes include tables listing various
climate initiatives and strategies compiled for the NWFPCAS and by me
for the NCAI climate change session last week.
Please don't hesitate to let me know if you have any questions or
would like more information about any topics on the call. And for
those on the call, please don't hesitate to let me know if I've missed
anything. I will send out a doodle poll to schedule our next meeting
in the next week or so.
Regards,
Kathy
