US EPA Region 9 is accepting applications for a Supervisory position in the Communities and Ecosystems Division, Tribal Program Office. As manager of the Tribal Program office in the Communities and Ecosystems Division, you will:
• supervise a staff of 11 to 12 people, who as grant project officers award more than $15 million annually in grants to approximately 130 tribes and tribal consortia to develop their environmental capacity (each staff member has liaison or coordination responsibilities with the other divisions and programs in the region, or lead responsibilities for the four Regional Tribal Operations Committee meetings each year, Annual Tribal Conference, annual accomplishments report, Tribal Consultation Policy, or General Assistance Program grant awards);
• consult with the other divisions and programs in the region to coordinate the work on Indian Lands;
• coordinate policy development and implementation with the other regions and headquarters; and
work with senior tribal leaders to resolve issues.

Qualifications: To qualify for the GS-14 level, you need to have at least one year of full
