Tribal Consultation FIFRA August 11 & Aug 16

This is the package inviting tribes to attend a consultation on making a permanent finding to allow the legal use in Indian country of special local need and emergency pesticides allowed under FIFRA section 18 and 24(c). We mailed this package last Friday and today to the Tribal Chair or President, Environmental Director, and Pesticide Program Director for each tribe (over 1500 letters).

Could you forward this to the Regional Tribal Coordinators. We would appreciate if the Tribal Coordinators can help make sure their tribes are aware of this consultation opportunity.
