40 hour Hazwoper June 16-17 & June 21-23, 2011

Deadline for 40-hour HAZWOPER has passed. Please submit forms via email or fax to 951-296-5109.

It is important that we receive your registration form in order for us to provide enough materials for participants. The training will take place on June 16-17 and June 21-23 from 8:00-5:00 pm. It will take place at NAEPC office in Temecula. This training is open to Tribal EPA Departments, Transfer Station Employees, Tribal Fire Departments or Emergency-Responders. Please distribute amongst those departments. Also, those who work in professions that may deal with hazardous materials or hazardous material incidents.

It is advised that you bring your own respirators that you use on the job in order to receive proper training on the equipment that your tribe uses. Also, please note that a doctor’s letter is required confirming that participants are able to lift and carry 40 pounds on back and able to use respirators. A sports or OSHA physical is acceptable.
