Session Description: The Environmental Protection Agency, Region 8 has made toxic chemical management in Indian Country schools a priority. The primary objective is to make Indian Country Schools safer for school children. Exposure to toxic chemicals can result in short term and long term adverse health effects for students, teachers, and staff. Join us for a discussion of voluntary and regulatory programs related to School Chemical Cleanout, polychlorinated biphenyls, lead and asbestos. Basic steps to make your school healthier for students, teachers, and staff will be provided.
