Basic Compliance Inspector Training Course - June 7-8

The Basic Compliance Inspector Training Course will be held on the following dates in the Arkansas conference room: June 7 (9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.), June 8 (8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.), and
June 9, 2011 (8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.)

All EPA personnel who conduct field inspections must complete this three day course to satisfy the basic training requirements of Presidential Order 3500.1. The course covers the legal, technical, administrative, and communication aspects of compliance inspections conducted under all EPA statutes. The basic knowledge needed to conduct compliance inspections that support EPA enforcement programs will be provided. Only 40 seats are available and due to the expected higher than normal attendance, it is strongly suggested that seat reservations be submitted as soon as possible. If seats are still available after May 25, 2011, remaining seats will be made available to Tribal and State environmental offices.
