Position Title: Part-Time Dental Assistant (32 hours weekly)
Department: Dental
Location: Midtown Sacramento
Job Summary:
This position is essential in maintaining our four - handed dentistry procedures. In addition, the assistant will enable the dentist to make more efficient use of his/her time by carrying out specific tasks.
Job Qualifications:
 High school diploma or equivalent.
 Must possess dental assisting certificate from an accredited school and have 2 + years dental assistant experience.
 Must possess dental x-ray and coronal polish license.
 Knowledge in all of the above assigned duties is required for fourhanded dentistry and preventative dentistry for plaque control instruction. Knowledge of the mouth and aptitude for grasping dental assistant duties is required.
 Experience in a community dental clinic setting is preferred.
 The ability to work in a productive and respectful manner with all patients, staff, and supervisors.
 Must have current CPR certification.
 Compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations, as they pertain to position including; HIPAA, sexual harassment, Scope of Practice, OSHA etc.
Salary Information: $13.00 hourly
