Job Description: Responsibility for administrative and strategic leadership of the Ohio Pesticide Safety Education Program (OPSEP) for The Ohio State University Extension and the Department of Entomology. Direct and supervise the planning, designing, and implementation of a comprehensive statewide pesticide application training program including administrative leadership, documentation of program impacts, and generating extramural funding support for the program. Compensation: Administrative and Professional (A&P) position salary range of $51,000 - $87,000 (third quartile for this position classification = $78,000); commensurate based on education and experience. Full university benefits.

Qualifications: Ph.D. desired, Master's degree required with experience developing and managing outreach and education programs. Requires: expertise in integrated pest management, pesticides and pesticide use including regulation and environmental issues, and commitment to ongoing professional development; experience in development, coordination, delivery, evaluation, and reporting of adult educational and outreach programs including curriculum development; , managing personnel and budgets; documented experience in obtaining extramural funding; excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and experience communicating with diverse clientele.
