HUD MATIC Tribal Resource Forum Jan 18, 2011

Post by NaepcA1 »

GREAT NEWS! Registration continues to grow and is at 17 as of today! Keep up the good work in spreading the word. We could use your help in sharing the attached flyer (again) with your tribal groups and other folks who may be interested in attending MATIC’s 2nd Annual Tribal Resource Forum. We are gearing up for another very successful and informative Resource Forum!

Also, for next Wednesday’s MATIC meeting, attached are the revised agenda (no tribal presentation), and the “To Do” Checklist for the Forum. Please review the list and see where you or staff from your organization can help. A BIG THANKS already to the following:
Levi Esquerra (NAU Center for American Indian Economic Development) for securing the FREE Facility & parking.
Jan Bontrager (Federal Reserve Bank of SF) for providing Food and Beverages.
Deb Patton (RCAC) for collecting & uploading the presentations AND for arranging webinar access for ‘remote’ participants who are unable to attend in person.

MATIC continues to be an amazingly cohesive group, willing to lending skills and resources where needed to provide infrastructure programs and services for our Native American communities. THANK YOU ALL!

We look forward to seeing/hearing from you all at the MATIC meeting – Wed., Dec. 14 at 1:00 pm. If you have comments, suggestions, etc. prior to the meeting , please let me know.

Please forward the attached flyer to your distribution lists and anyone who may be interested in attending and/or participating in this exciting Forum. The Forum will feature and share lots of information and resources available to tribes and tribal organizations, particularly in Arizona.

Also attached are the following:

•    Updated MATIC agency contacts and biographies (for the Tribal Resource Forum)

As always, please let me know if you have updates, edits or suggestions. Thanks for your ongoing commitment to provide collective resources to serve our Tribes and Native American communities.
