The U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE's) Tribal Energy Program is pleased to forward the following information on funding opportunities available to tribal, state, and local governments. The information is provided courtesy of The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's Office of Native American Programs (ONAP.)
The Greener Homes National Summit is a three-day conference designed to foster discussions that will promote energy efficient tribal homes and communities as well as encourage economic development through adoption of energy efficiency technologies and development of renewable energy resources on tribal lands.
Following are a few of the sessions the conference will include:
• Energy Efficiency and Your Home
• Conducting Energy Assessments
• Developing a Green Community
• Financing Alternative Energy Projects
• Alternative Energy Sources and Building Materials

Training Agenda
• Registration will begin at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, September 27.
• On Tuesday, September 27, training will take place from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. Exhibits will be on display from 12 p.m. until 7 p.m.
• On Wednesday, September 28, training will take place from 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. Exhibits will be on display until 5 p.m.
• On Thursday, September 29, training will take place from 8:30 a.m. until 12 p.m.
