The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Mexico's Secretariat of the Environment and Natural Resources (SEMARNAT) announce their VII annual National Coordinators meeting under the Border 2012 U.S.-Mexico Environmental Program.

The Border 2012 Program National Coordinators are pleased to invite you to the Seventh National Coordinators Meeting to review the accomplishments made to date and priorities for the coming year, taking into consideration that is the last year of the Program. We also look forward to sharing a first draft document that includes preliminary goals and objectives, based on input received thus far, for the Next Program. We look forward to your participation and engagement in this year’s discussions.

The focus of this year’s National Coordinators Meeting (NCM) will include working sessions for the six Border 2012 Workgroups and forums, emerging issues workshops, and in-depth discussions on the next bi-national border environmental program.

KEY NCM OBJECTIVES INCLUDE:
1. Sharing of Environmental Results and Progress
2. Priorities for Coming Year
3. Comments/review of the next bi-national border program Goals
