We are very pleased to be offering a new course as part of our Tribal Solid Waste Education and Assistance Program (TSWEAP) here at ITEP. This new course will be focused on Tribal Transfer Stations and will be taking place just south of Albuquerque, at the Pueblo of Isleta, March 22-24, 2011.
Attached to this email is a course description and application. If you are interested in attending this course, please review the information and send your application back to us as soon as possible.
TSWEAP is funded through a grant with the US Department of Agriculture. This course is free and is open to employees of federally-recognized tribes. We will be accepting 20 participants for this course. As we anticipate a high demand for this training, we will not consider any more than two applications from a tribe. As part of this program, we will be paying for the lodging and will reimburse per diem for course participants. However, participants will need to cover all of their own travel expenses. If you submit an application for this course, we will be in touch with you to let you know if you have been accepted and will provide you with additional information at that time.
Regards,
