Job Description
The Water Resource Technician is funded by the U.S EPA Clean Water Act Section 106 Tribal water pollution control Grant Program. The position is supervised by the Environmental Resources Director and works cooperatively with the Cultural Resources Coordinator and other Tribal Staff. The Water Resource Technician's work requires both office and outdoor activity. Office work involves maintaining and updating database information, research, and report writing, and other pertinent tasks. Outdoor work involves physical exertion that includes, walking, hiking, and other tasks necessary for implementing mitigation methods, and data collection. Field visits will be made to Buena Vista Rancheria to gather data and will be documented with written and photographic methods. Occasional overnight travel will be required for training, workshops, events and meetings. See attached Job Announcement for more information.
