Wind Energy Applications Training Symposium Sept 28-30

Post by NaepcA1 »

September 28–30
National Renewable Energy Laboratory
Golden, Colorado
At this internationally acclaimed three-day workshop, you'll learn from National Renewable Energy Laboratory experts and other local experts about the capabilities of wind technology as well as the economic and financial aspects of sustainable project development.
If you are considering a tribal wind energy project, you'll learn how to conduct project prefeasibility and identification analysis and implement wind projects large and small. You'll also have the option of participating in site visits that will provide close-up looks at wind farms and their manufacture.
In addition, you will have an opportunity to:
• Meet with leaders in the U.S. wind energy industry
• Get acquainted with Native American members and participants from other countries
• Develop useful contacts and practical expertise.
WEATS is designed to provide project planners, developers, utility officials, and engineers directly involved with energy projects with the practical knowledge and analytical tools needed to bring large and small wind energy projects to fruition and ensure that they operate successfully and profitably for years.
For a detailed agenda or to register, visit the WEATS Web site.
