The Inter Tribal Council of Arizona, Inc. (ITCA) Hazardous Materials Emergency Preparedness (HMEP) Program is coordinating an 8-Hour HAZWOPER Refresher Course on December 4, 2012, in Phoenix, Arizona. A U.S. Dept. of Transportation Hazardous Materials Emergency Preparedness (HMEP) grant enables us to provide the training at no cost to participants.
This course is designed for tribal personnel who remove hazardous waste or who are potentially exposed to hazardous substances or health hazards. This course meets the requirements outlined in 29 CFR 1910.120 for eight (8) hours of annual refresher training for workers at hazardous waste sites. The 40-Hr HAZWOPER is a prerequisite for this course. There is no registration fee for this course.
