Post by NaepcA1 »

Hello NTC Members,

Wanted to share a funding opportunity with you and your regional networks.

EPA is now accepting applications for the Tribal Support of the Exchange Network. A brief description of the program is included below, with a link for more details. The application period ends on December 31, 2012.

Please forward to tribes in your regions and any tribal organizations. http://www.epa.gov/exchangenetwork/grants/

Thanks,
Paige

Applicants for the Tribal Support for the National Environmental Information Exchange Network RFA must submit an application package to EPA by December 31, 2012. The total estimated funding expected to be available under this competitive opportunity is approximately $800,000. EPA anticipates award of one cooperative agreement, whose annual value shall not exceed $160,000. The cooperative agreement will be funded incrementally up to four additional years. Additional funds may be added to each subsequent year of the agreement, subject to satisfactory performance, availability of funds, and other applicable considerations. In FY 2013, total funding shall not exceed $160,000. EPA will accept project proposals for this opportunity in one of two ways: 1) a hardcopy mailed or delivered application, including one original and two copies; or 2) a proposal submitted electronically through the grants.gov website. EPA anticipates that it will announce selection decisions in or around April 2013. EPA plans to issue the awards by April 15, 2013.
