OPP Draft Policy Statement

Post by NaepcA1 »

a Policy Statement on Pesticide Regulatory Actions Affecting Indian County and Alaska Native Villages. This came about from the banning on Rozol on two reservations and the inclusion of the ban on labels of the product in the Montana Area. OPP sees that other tribes may have concerns with pesticide that may be used and need assistance in having them banned from the Reservation (at least that is how I understood the conversation).

Please review and if you have any specific comments you could send them to me and I can share them at the TPPC in October or email them to Mary Powell at powell.mary@epa.gov. We can talk more about this at the RTOC meeting in November as well if you wish.

Cheers,
