ITEP Tribal Transfer Station Course Jan 24-26, 2011 Calif.

Post by NaepcA1 »

Attached please find an application for ITEP’s Tribal Transfer Station” course. This training will be held in sunny San Diego, California, January 24-26, 2012. As part of this course, attendees will be taken on a tour of two tribal transfer stations, in addition to attending lectures by tribal professionals who have managed all aspects of tribal transfer stations – from design, construction, day-to-day operations, and expansion.

The deadline for applications is January 13, 2012. The last time this course was offered we received over seventy applications for twenty spots. So, the sooner you submit your application the better your chances of being selected. This course is open to all employees of federally-recognized tribes. However, in order to accommodate as many tribal programs as possible, we will not be accepting more than two applications from any given tribe.

There are no fees for this course and ITEP will also cover the lodging costs for all accepted attendees. Please note that ITEP is not reimbursing attendees for their per diem expenses for this course. Additionally, attendees will need to cover their own travel expenses.

Completed applications should be either emailed to me at todd.barnell@nau.edu or faxed to my attention at 928-523-1266.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
