2011 Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) Training
Flyer and Registration Form (click here to download)
The Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) training for next week is a valuable resource for Indian Health Clinics and tribes. In order to receive FEMA reimbursement after a disaster or emergency, clinics are required to have HSEEP compliant exercises. However, with all of the different hats that everyone wears and busy day-to-day operations, it can be difficult to navigate through the complexity of HSEEP and to become familiar with existing, valuable resources. This workshop will provide a strong foundation in HSEEP as well as show you hands on where the resources are located and how to use them.
We strongly encourage Indian Health Clinics and tribes to consider registering for this free workshop, on November 18th at the Barona Resort and Casino (1932 Wildcat Canyon Rd, Lakeside, CA 92040). This workshop will include an overview of HSEEP in the morning (8am - 12:30pm) and will include 4 continuing education credits for workshop participants. In the afternoon, training will focus primarily on how to use the HSEEP resources online that are available for clinics.
As usual, this workshop is open to all Indian Health Clinics, tribes, and emergency preparedness and local responders.
Registration is free; breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Onsite, walk-in registration is available.
