Dear Environmental, Natural Resource, and Cultural Resource Directors and Managers,

At its meeting on 21 June in Sacramento, the State Water Resources Control Board will meet to consider whether to approve the Delta methylmercury and mercury TMDL and Basin Plan amendments. The TMDL and Basin Plan amendments were adopted by the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board in April 2011. Attached is the State Water Board's agenda- the Delta TMDL is Item #5. Comments letters and responses to comment letters are available at
http://www.waterboards.ca.gov/centralva ... /delta_hg/
This TMDL project addresses methylmercury and mercury in the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta (counties of Contra Costa, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Alameda, Solano, and Yolo Counties)

We received the agenda into the Central Valley Water Board 's office today. Letters to Tribal Chairpersons throughout California (federal and non-federally recognized) are being sent today.

Please let me know if you have any thoughts or questions,
