What? U.S. EPA Financial and Administrative Grant Guidance and DBE Training
Please join us for a 2-day, comprehensive Financial and Administrative Guidance for U.S. EPA Assistance Agreements training. The training is provided by the National Partner-ship for Environmental Technology Education (PETE), and is being coordinated by Veronica Swann, EPA Region9.

Please join us for a 2-day, comprehensive Financial and Administrative Guidance for U.S. EPA Assistance Agreements training. The training is provided by the National Partnership for Environmental Technology Education (PETE), and is being coordinated by Veronica Swann, EPA Region 9.
About the Training:
This training is designed to provide Tribes, U.S. Territories and Insular Areas with training in the proper management of Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) funds through assistance awards.
It will also cover the Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP) new Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Rule.
Upon completion of the training the participants will have a valuable comprehensive manual for future reference in addition to a full under-standing of:
The assistance agreement award
Which regulations apply to an assistance agreement award
How to administer an assistance agreement award
How to financially manage an assistance agreement award
The roles and responsibilities of both EPA and the Tribal Nation
Complete accounting policies and procedures of the assistance agree-ment award
Requirements of the new DBE program
