AAPCO Newsletter

Dear AAPCO Control Official:
Several items to bring us up to date:
1) Volume #2, December 2013, issue of the AAPCO Newsletter is attached and also available on-line at http://www.aapco.org/documents/documents.pdf
2) Please visit the AAPCO website and review the state officials contact information for your specific state. The site map for state control officials is located at: http://www.aapco.org/officials.html. If the contact information is correct, a reply to this message that the “contact info is good” will be greatly appreciated. If there are changes to the contact information please note them in your reply. Updates to your state contact information can be made at any time of the year – just send me an email.
3) New information is being added to each State Control Officials webpage. The addition will necessitate that you provide a telephone number and/or regulatory contact name for people who wish to report a pesticide incident in your state. This request is an outgrowth of SFIREG discussions with EPA and the National Pesticide Information Center, (NPIC). NPIC has a SOP where “incident reporters” are provided information on who to call if they wish to report to a regulatory authority. In some cases, NPIC does not have the SLA contact information available and SFIREG has recommended the AAPCO website be updated with the direct regulatory contact number or person. Your “Incident Reporting” telephone number/contact person will be inserted at the top of your list of state control officials.
As always, thank you for your time and assistance in keeping our website information current.
