Renovation, Repair and Painting Rule Workshop
Date: April 7, 2010; 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Location: US EPA Region 9 Office, 75 Hawthorne St, San Francisco, CA
Did you know that a new federal lead-based paint rule will impact nearly all contractors involved in renovation work?
Speakers: Representatives from US EPA, US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), California Department of Public Health, and Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Programs
Who should attend: Local government agencies and tribal governments in California, Nevada, Arizona and Hawaii that interact with the regulated community (e.g. contracting firms, contractors) or general public on renovation activities or childhood lead poisoning prevention.
Register: Email Jean Prijatel (prijatel.jean@epa.gov) by March 19 with: 1) your name and job title, 2) organization/affiliation and 3) contact information. There is no cost to attend the workshop, but you must register in advance.
RRP will apply to all child-occupied facilities (including schools and childcare facilities).
