Welcome to the official newsletter for the 24th National Tanks Conference & Expo! The 2013 National Tanks Conference will be held September 16 - 18, 2013 at the Denver Sheraton Downtown Hotel. The National Tanks Conference Website contains all the conference information including agendas, registration, exhibitors, hotel and destination information, and much more. For those of you unable to attend this year's conference in person, we are excited to announce that the following sessions will be offered as free webcasts:
• Advanced LNAPL Assessment I, Monday, September 16 from 1:30 - 3:00 p.m. (MDT)
• Operation, Maintenance, and Inspection of UST System Release Detection and Prevention Equipment, Monday, September 16 from 3:30 - 5:00 p.m. (MDT)
• Bankruptcies, Mergers, Acquisitions, & Spin-Offs - Who Has the Ball?, Tuesday, September 17 from 1:30 - 3:00 p.m. (MDT)
Registration is required. Registration for the webcasts closes on September 6. Please continue to check back as we add more webcasts.

As in the past, the 2013 conference will feature an excellent assortment of pre-conference workshops, offered on Sunday, September 15, 2013. Check out the following workshop on LIF Data Interpretation!
Basic and Advanced Laser-Induced Fluorescence Data Interpretation
Sunday, September 15, 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.
This workshop will enable the participant to intelligently interpret rapid, ultra-violet, and tar-specific optical screening tool laser-induced fluorescence (LIF) data. The workshop will cover the basic concepts of LIF screening tools in a logical manner using easy-to-understand terminology. The instructor will walk participants through a wide variety of more complex and exotic phenomenon that can play a role in interpreting LIF data. Participants are encouraged to bring their own LIF logs (.bin files) to review with the instructor.
Tuesday Field Trip
The 2013 conference will feature an optional Manufacturing Tour: Eaton Metal Products Company and Geotech Environmental Equipment, Inc. on Tuesday, September 17th. For a more detailed description, please visit our website. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Please sign up for the tour when registering for the conference.
