NAEPC and the California Environmental Protection Agency (Cal/EPA) will be providing a one-day training on Preventing Environmental Crimes on Tribal Lands on July 17, 2012 in San Diego. This free training is designed to help regulatory and enforcement personnel improve their skills in conducting effective and professional environmental review for compliance.
This course will include the following subjects:
1. Recognition of Environmental Crime
2. Interview Skills
3. Elements of Violations
4. Evidence to Prove a Violation
5. Report Writing
6. Case Referral
California Environmental Protection Agency (Cal/EPA) is a provider of training to California Environmental Inspectors and Investigators through its Basic Inspector Academy (BIA). Cal/EPA would like to invite the California Tribal Environmental Protection Agency members to the BIA to understand the process of conducting and recording information for an environmental review.
If you are interested in attending, please fill out attached registration form and submit via email to cfoster@naepc.com or fax to 951-296-5109 by July 3, 2012. Please distribute amongst Tribal EPA Departments, Tribal Law Enforcement, Tribal Fire Departments, Tribal Employees, and Tribal Community.
