Tribal Water Law Conference October 21-22 in Las Vegas

Post by NaepcA1 »

I cordially invite you to join us in Las Vegas this fall for a conference on Tribal Water Law. We'll be gathering on October 21 and 22, 2010, in Las Vegas, to discuss the latest updates on Indian water rights, claims, settlements, opportunities and challenges. We are excited to have Alletta Belin, Counselor to the Deputy Secretary, U.S. Department of the Interior, and Chair, Working Group on Indian Water Settlements, joining the conference to update us on the federal government's tribal policy priorities in relation to water. There will also be regional updates and creative thinking about tribal water goals for a variety of participants; including tribes, states, local governments, private interests and individuals. We look forward to seeing you there! Register soon.
