Wildfire smoke – a complex mixture of air pollutants – is unhealthy to breathe and can be especially dangerous for people with asthma. This webinar, featuring staff from Regional Asthma Management & Prevention and the Public Health Institute, will address the following topics: - The impact of wildfire smoke on asthma, including the physiology and latest research - Steps to minimize exposure to wildfire smoke, including masks and air cleaners - Resources available to support efforts to reduce wildfire smoke exposure
