Developing Winning Proposals
This training session is designed to provide the participant with extensive instruction on grantmaking and the administration of grants. This session will examine the various grant programs for tribal communities and the rules for writing them. We will examine federal, state, and private grantmaking resources and the strategies needed to develop proposals. Participants will receive instruction on the principles of grant management, modifications, monitoring, reporting/audits and evaluation. All attendees will receive a comprehensive training manual and a certificate of achievement.

Tribal Transportation 101

The California and Nevada Tribal Transportation Training and Technical Assistance Program (CA/NV TTAP) invites you to attend a training session on Tribal Transportation. This session provides an overview of critical issues facing tribal transportation programs including identifying tribal transportation funding sources, developing a tribal transportation plan, updating tribal transportation plans, understanding the transportation planning process, addressing intergovernmental jurisdictional conflicts over rights-of-way through Indian Country and how those intergovernmental jurisdictional conflicts may impact the application of Tribal Employment Rights Ordinances (TERO) to transportation construction and maintenance contracts.

Tuition is waived for tribal transportation planners in California and Nevada. For tribal transportation personnel in other states, tuition waivers may be arranged through your local TTAP. Call us for more information. Non-transportation personnel are subject to the $545.00 tuition for each person.
