        NAEPC PROGRAMS & ACTIVITIES

Tribal Environmental Health Collaborative

Working collaboratively, NAEPC and The San Diego Foundation’s goals are to provide a place for tribes to discuss tribal environmental health priorities, access training on topics dealing with environmental health, and assist in finding resources to address environmental health priorities.

U.S./Mexico Border Activities
NAEPC began its border activities with a Border XXI grant. In July 2004, NAEPC became the Tribal Liaison for California Border Tribes. NAEPC hosts a California Border Caucus each year so that tribes on both sides of the US-Mexico Border can discus their environmental concerns. NAEPC attends Border Meetings and disseminates the information to Border Tribes. NAEPC also compiles the Border 2012 Tribal Accomplishments and Issues Report that is released each year at the National Coordinators Meeting.
