NPDES Fix Passes Another Hurdle
Legislation (HR 872) making it clear that Clean Water Act permits are not needed for FIFRA-compliant aquatic pesticide applications cleared the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee last week by a convincing 46 to 8 vote. Approval by the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, a week after approval by the House Agriculture Committee, paves the way for the legislation to be considered on the House floor.
