Committee Roles & Responsibilities
Drafting Committee
Purpose and Goals of the Drafting Committee
• To seek additional stakeholder comment on a new version of the Border Program
• To incorporate revised language, in close coordination with program offices within EPA, SEMARNAT, the 10 state environment agencies, and border tribes.
• To develop consensus (if possible) on revised language for the Border Goals and Objectives
• To produce a final Border Document for signing in April 2012.
