Border 2020-Request for Proposal: EPA Region 6

The Border Environment Cooperation Commission (BECC) and the Environmental Protection Agency
(EPA) are pleased to announce the publication of a Request for Proposals (RFP) for projects to be
implemented in the New Mexico-Texas-Chihuahua (3 State Region) and Texas-Coahuila-Nuevo LeonTamaulipas
(4 State Region) border region. The new RFP will assist these institutions to meet the Goals
and Objectives of the Border 2020 U.S. – Mexico Environmental Program, whose mission is to “protect
the environment and public health in the U.S.-Mexico border region, consistent with the principles of
sustainable development”.
RFP opens May 31, 2017 and closes on July 20, 2017.
*For–profit entities will not be considered for funding.
You are invited to attend an Informational Workshop regarding the RFP for 2017
