National Climate Assessment

Dear PNW Tribal Climate Change Network,
Following please find a number of important updates. In the next week, I will be sending out an update with information about last week's National Adaptation Forum, as well as a link to a page where you will be able to download the presentations given during the various tribal sessions at the Forum.
I will also send information on the recently published articles in the special issue of the Climatic Change Journal in my next email. These are noted in the attached document, and only include the articles that have already received DOIs. There are others that will be includes in the special issue that should receive their DOI numbers soon.

1. National Climate Assessment Comments:
I have attached a set of considerations for comments on the National Climate Assessment. Comments on the National Climate Assessment must be submitted online by Friday, April 12th at: http://ncadac.globalchange.gov/. The sheet I have attached includes some potential considerations that may be helpful as tribal staff, organizations, individuals or other entities submit comments on the NCA. A few people added to the google document, so this attachment is a compilation of comments from numerous people. In particular, I would like to thank Sarah Pizzo from the National Wildlife Federation for reviewing a large number of the National Climate Assessment chapters and contributing a great deal to these comments.
