Dear Chairperson:

Martha Guzman, U.S. EPA Region 9 Regional Administrator, is inviting you to a Tribal Leaders Roundtable on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, from 3:30 to 5:00 pm Pacific Time at EPA’s Region 9 San Francisco Office (75 Hawthorne Street, San Francisco, CA 94105). The Tribal Leaders Roundtable will be held in conjunction with the Spring 2023 Regional Tribal Operations Committee Meeting https://www.epa.gov/tribal-pacific-sw/s ... ee-meeting which will be held at the same location from April 18-20, 2023.

We are requesting advance registration to assist in the planning and preparation of this event. For registration, please email Alan Bacock, USEPA Region 9 Tribal Branch at bacock.alan@epa.gov by COB April 14, 2023, with the following information:

• Your name and title
• The name of your Tribe
• Please specify if you will be attending in-person or virtually
• The email address which we should send follow-up meeting information
• Any specific topics of interest or questions you would like to discuss (submitting your topics or questions in advance will help us to prepare for the flow and timing
of the meeting)

During the Tribal Leaders Roundtable, you will have the opportunity to meet with Regional Administrator Martha Guzman and USEPA senior managers to discuss your Tribal environmental priorities or any environmental program, policy or rulemaking topics you wish to share. The Region 9 Tribal Leaders Roundtable is a formal space for elected and appointed tribal leaders or their designated officials to engage in a direct dialogue with EPA Region 9’s Leadership.

Please note that registration is required for admission into the federal facility. All visitors are required to show recognizable state or federal identification (such as a state-issued ID, driver’s license, passport or military ID) and pass-through airport-style security screening.
