ANNOUCEMENT: Public Comment Period Begins Today for the Draft U.S.-Mexico Environmental Program: Border 2020
The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Mexico’s Secretaría de Medio Ambiente y Recursos Naturales (SEMARNAT), solicits comments and recommendations on the draft U.S.-Mexico Environmental Program: Border 2020.
The document can be found on EPA’s Border 2012 website at www.epa.gov/border2012 and on SEMARNAT Border 2012 website at: http://www.semarnat.gob.mx/temas/intern ... Index.aspx. The comment period ends on November 30, 2011.
Come and listen to a presentation, ask questions, and provide your comments and input during the following Border 2020 webinars and public meetings.
**Note that the first public meeting is in Nogales, AZ on September 28th and then October 5th in Calexico**
A notice of availability has also been placed on the U.S. Federal Register.
