Subject: Tribal Climate Change Action Camp

Good Morning,
The American Indian Higher Education Consortium (AIHEC) in partnership with the Southwest Climate Science Center (SWCSC), South Central Climate Science Center (SCCSC), Institute for Tribal Environmental Professionals (ITEP), and the Native Nations Climate Adaptation Program (NNCAP) are putting together a Tribal Climate Change Action Camp in July. It will be held at Navajo Technical University in Crownpoint, NM from July 24 to 28, 2017. Attached is the camp flyer. In case the registration link does not work, here is webpage address: http://events.r20.constantcontact.com/r ... =zl4czwlab.

Lastly, the camp participants must attend the camp then find community partners (e.g. schools, community organizations, or tribal departments) in order to get the $1500 seed grant for their projects. This is a great opportunity not only for the individuals, but also for tribal communities.

We would greatly appreciate if you could circulate this opportunity to your contacts. Thank you!
