Dana and I agreed that the best date for us to host the next meeting at Morongo is February 5, 2014. We would like to start at 10 am with discussion about GPS and Trimble before lunch and then get out into the field after. James Payne has agreed to go over some basic GPS info and how we can use it in the field, but if there are any specific questions let me know before the meeting and we will try to address them. For the field, I’ve checked off the equipment we already have here below using the list from the SWAMP SOPs.

The address for the Administration Building is 12700 Pumarra Road, Banning, CA 92220. I’ve attached a map of the Reservation. Exit the freeway at Malki Road and continue to Gate 1 on the map. As a reminder, you will need to bring your driver’s license to check in at the gate and sign a liability waiver for going into the field once you are here. I’ve also attached a flyer. Please forward this to anyone I may have missed. Looking forward to seeing everyone next year.
