Hello Everyone,

The agenda for the 19th annual CABW meeting at UCD is attached along with the flyer with registration and logistical information. As earlier e-mails mentioned, the first day is dedicated to presentations and discussion on Biological Objectives which by now most of you have heard about but may not have seen the final details. I know it will be a interesting and informative session. We also have a great line up of bioassessment presentations on the second day and after lunch; we will have the first meeting of the newly formed California Chapter of the Society of Freshwater Science (SFS).

Michael Barbour, past president when SFS was named the North American Benthological Society will be there to talk about the national SFS and help us with our first meeting. I think many of you will want to join so visit their website http://www.freshwater-science.org and click on the About SFS link to learn more about SFS and watch the promotional video. We will show it at the CABW for the entire group, but it is well done and worth watching many times; nice underwater bug shots.

See you at the meeting, jim
