Dear All:

Thank you for your valued involvement in the Southern California NIDIS Pilot Activity. Thanks to your contributions, we are making good progress toward the development of a drought early warning system and resources for Southern California.

Three things:

(1) Please find attached the meeting notes, and the list of the working groups. If you have any edits or additions, please let me know.

(2) For the working groups - we will be setting up the first meetings, so look for a Doodle poll soon. If you would like to be involved in either or both of the working groups, and you are not currently on the list(s), please let me know, before this Friday, June 8th. (As a side note: for the working groups, we have renamed "Your Drought Monitor" as "Experimental Drought Monitor.") The working groups will each meet separately, and then we'll join together again for an all-member group meeting.

(3) I'll send the pdfs of the six presentations in my next e-mail.

As always, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or suggestions.

With best regards,

Anne Steinemann
