WCFSP Grant Due May 22, 2018

San Diego IRWM Stakeholders,

U.S. Bureau of Reclamation is requesting proposals to fund grant activities in support of its Water Conservation Field Services Program (WCFSP). The WCFSP is designed to proactively encourage water conservation in the operations of recipients of water from Federal water projects and to assist agricultural and urban water districts in preparing and implementing water conservation plans.

WCFSP Funding Opportunity
• Deadline: May 22, 2018
• Funding Available: $900,000
• Max Funding: $100,000 per proposal
• Funding Match: 50%
• Eligible Applicants: States, Indian tribes, irrigation districts, water districts, or other organizations with water or power delivery authority located in the Lower Colorado Region (includes Southern California)
• Eligible Project Types: water conservation plans, design of water management improvements, system optimization reviews to identify water management improvements, and demonstration activities that improve understanding of water conservation techniques.
