Greetings,

This is a reminder that the Competitive NPS Tribal RFP is posted! EPA is soliciting proposals from eligible tribes and intertribal consortia to develop and/or implement watershed-based plans and other on-the-ground projects that will result in significant steps towards solving NPS impairments on a watershed-wide basis. Proposals are due May 2, 2018. EPA estimates $2.5 million in federal funds will be awarded under this solicitation, depending on Agency funding levels.

The FY 2018 Tribal Competitive 319 Grant Request for Proposals has been posted to the Tribal NPS page which you can access at the link below:
https://www.epa.gov/nps/nonpoint-source ... ation#COmp

Some important dates you need to know for the FY2018 competitive grant period:
• April 20, 2018 – The final deadline for Tribes to submit clarifying questions about the RFP.
• May 2, 2018 (11:59pm Eastern) – Proposals are DUE. Applications must be posted to Grants.gov by this date and time. Please try and upload your proposal and application at least a week before the due date, to avoid any last minute issues with Grants.gov.

The competitive RFP information sessions will be offered twice (same information presented both times). Registration information for each webinar will be posted to the Tribal NPS website. I encourage you attend one session if you are applying for competitive funds this year! One webinar is scheduled for April 10th, during the Spring RTOC. For those attending RTOC, I will work to find adequate space and the ability for you to view the webinar on that day.

• The information session dates/times will be:
o April 4, 2018 3 – 4:30 PM Eastern (12:00 PM to 1:30 PM Pacific)
o April 10, 2018 3 – 4:30 PM Eastern (12:00 PM to 1:30 PM Pacific)

Please contact your CWA Project Officer or me if you have any issues accessing the RFP or any of the content in this email.

Best of Luck!
