Good Afternoon,
Representatives from your offices are invited to attend a Gold Spotted Oak Borer (GSOB) Workshop on Wednesday, May 2nd from 9:00a.m. – 4:00p.m. at the Pechanga Government Center. The GSOB is an invasive pest which is contributing to the ongoing mortality of oak trees in San Diego County. The workshop will provide updated information related to GSOB research; the extent of oak mortality and at-risk areas; identification and assessment; research on control methods; and best management practices for oak woodland resiliency and restoration. The workshop flyer is attached for your reference; please note that the first 15 people to respond by 8:00AM Tuesday, May 1st will have their fee waived.
